Postdocs and PhD students

We are looking for postdocs and students of physics, applied mathematics, engineering, or earth science with interests in ice dynamics, fluid dynamics, nonlinear dynamics, or geophysics. We also welcome applicants with expertise in machine learning and interested in applications in climate science/geophysics.

• Students interested in applying to the Stanford PhD programs in either Geophysics or the Institute for Computational & Mathematical Engineering (ICME) to work with me should apply directly to the Ph.D. program. Please send me a CV, and describe your past work and current interests in your email.

• If you are already a Stanford graduate student interested in doing a rotation or second project with me, get in touch! Please send me a CV, and describe your past work and current interests in your email. Note that Stanford graduate students don’t need to be in Geophysics to join our group. We welcome students from Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Applied Physics, and ICME to work with our group.
